Seems weird that there is no pricing information for the Arkham City Killer Croc and Mr. Freeze, however BigBadToyStore has just raised the prices on their preorders for Killer Croc and Mr. Freeze to $44.99. This is probably a good indicator of what the final price in stores might be.
First of all to me as a Batman purist, Nolan’s versions of Batman are horrible! I look at those figures and just roll my eyes! FYI, Mr. Nolan, the Joker doesn’t have a green perm, cut up sides of mouth, and lick his lips after every five sentences and spindly metro/trendy Christian Bale isn’t muscular enough(Look at the build of Arkham Asylum/Arkham City Batman, now that’s what Batman should look like!)! Plus, why does he sound like Clint Eastwood with laryngitis when he talks? Now what really makes me mad, is that they have metro/trendy actor Tom Hardy (According to imdb.com is 5’10, probably 195 pounds soaking wet) playing Bane who according to DC Comics is 6’8″ 350 pounds! I mean, c’mon man he breaks Batman’s back, with no problem! Plus Nolan’s Bane looks like Hannibal Lechter with that stupid face mask instead of the whole colored head mask!
I absolutely hate Nolan’s versions and wish someone would make a really good Batman movie with better casting and story line! That’s why I love the more traditional approach of the AA/AC game and DC Directs figures!!!!!!
The Batman voice is kinda weird. I’m still not completely used to it. I do love a lot of the costume designs for these movies, and I definitely love the cast.
The thing I love most of all is the story. The stories for Nolan’s Batman movies are fantastic. And in any form of story-telling, the story is the most important thing.
