It’s just been revealed that the NECA Aliens light-up Alien egg with launching facehugger is now available for sale at the NECA eBay store. It’s also being shipped to retailers right now, so if you don’t feel like buying it online then it should be in stores soon. Check your local comic and specialty shops, and Toys R Us to find these.

So, this certainly isn’t your normal fare when you think of Japanese import figures, but it’s been revealed today that there is a Figma Indiana Jones figure coming from Max Factory! A really good, super posable Indiana Jones figure is long overdue, so I’m sure there will be many fans planning to pick this one up. The Figma Indiana Jones figure looks like it comes with at least two different faces, what looks like a posable bull whip, a rolled up bull whip, pistol, and trinkets from the original three Indiana Jones films. He comes with the golden idol from the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark, a Sankara Stone from Temple of Doom, and the Holy Grail from The Last Crusade. It’s scheduled for a March 2014 release at ¥4,800 Yen, or about $49.12 in US dollars.

The other day a teaser image of the upcoming NECA Arkham Origins 1/4 Scale Batman figure was posted on the NECA Twitter page. It’s expected to be released in early 2014, but NECA always relishes an opportunity to show off teasers of upcoming products to get the fans drooling in anticipation.

It’s that time again for Ask Mattel. If you’d like to ask Mattel a question about any of its brands, leave them as comments to this post. I’ll pick five out of the bunch to be answered on November 15th, 2013. All questions need to be submitted by 11:59 PM CST on October 31st, 2013.
NECA just can’t seem to help themselves when it comes to doing classic NES inspired variants of their most iconic characters. First they came out with their SDCC exclusive NES Jason Voorhees, then they just came out with their NES Freddy Krueger, and now NECA has just revealed their all new classic video game 8 bit inspired NES Robocop action figure. Like Freddy and Jason, this new NES Robocop will come in box packaging made to resemble the case the old NES video game came in. NECA even went so far as to include their Reel Toys and NECA logos on the box in the places where, on the original game packaging, it was the Data East and Nintendo logos. The fact that NECA goes that far, to make their logos resemble the old ones is just icing to someone like me who really appreciates good graphics work on packaging.

Hey everyone! To continue in the Halloween spirit, for my latest custom I bring you Eye-Lash! The cycloptic femme fatale, the evil mistress of torture for the Evil Horde! This idea was brought to me by Masters of the Universe fan Joe Martin. He had entered this into the 2012 Masters of the Universe Classics Create-A-Character contest. Sadly it didn’t win, so he sought me out to realize his idea in custom figure form. And let me say, I’m glad he did, because this was a fun one. The Evil Horde is easily my favorite faction of MOTU lore, due to the fact that most of the members are based on classic movie and literary monsters. Eye-Lash here is no different. She’s a cyclops for crying out loud! She’s covered in creepy eyes all over her outfit, she’s got a crazy looking “cat eye nine tails” whip, and she’s plenty evil to boot. She definitely fits in with the Evil Horde. Be sure to click the photo below to check out the full photo set and description for my custom Eye-Lash.
