Hey everyone. I know that 2015 was a slow year, to say the least. Life really bogged down everything here on the site. I plan to remedy that in 2016. It’s a new year, and I couldn’t feel more energized and inspired. I’ve got a lot of stuff planned. I’m looking to get a steady update of customs each week, and I plan to bring back video reviews as well on my Youtube Channel. I also post a lot of stuff related to my work and toys in general on the Mint Condition Customs Facebook page, and Instagram. Stuff that doesn’t end up here. So if you want to see extra stuff, be sure to follow those. Anyway, I just wanted to post a quick update on things. Thanks for continuing to check out the site, and my work.

My Custom Voltaire Featured on Zombies Vs. Ninjas!
Hello, all. A while back on Facebook, I teased that something I created would be in a popular internet animated series. Well, now I’m happy to say that I can finally share it with you! The popular series in question is called Zombies Vs. Ninjas from Shut Up! Cartoons on Youtube. It was created by Michael Granberry, an animator for Robot Chicken! My custom figure of musician Aurelio Voltaire was featured and fully animated in the latest episode, and will be appearing the next one as well. And yes, Voltaire himself provided the voice for the figure.

No More Captcha!
Hello everybody. It’s been brought to my attention that a lot of people have been having trouble posting comments to my posts, due to the Captchas I’ve been using. I tried implementing a couple of different ones, but they all seemed to be too annoying for anyone to comment. Since it’s driving people away from interacting on my site, I’ve done away with Captchas completely.
I have instead implemented a new method to deal with spam, and so far it’s working just fine. So you can post Captcha free now. Hopefully this will encourage more commenting on this site, since it has been dreadfully bare recently.
Thank you.
Dallas Vintage Toys – Epic Tour
If you live in Texas, particularly the DFW area, and you’re a toy collector who is unfamiliar with Dallas Vintage Toys, then that is a travesty. Dallas Vintage Toys is easily the best kept secret in the metroplex. Unfortunately, secrets don’t make money. So I wanted to help get the word out. I’ve been shopping at Dallas Vintage Toys for a long time, ever since I stumbled across their website.
You have to travel to an office building, get on an elevator, and go up 6 floors to get to their store. It’s completely worth it though. They have all kinds of toys from the 70’s-90’s, and even some modern stuff. And their prices are really great. If you want to keep track of their updates, “like” their Facebook page. And be sure to check out this video below of an “Epic Tour” that some fan made, showing you all there is to see of Dallas Vintage Toys.
My Interview on Collector’s Workbench
That’s right, I was recently interviewed by the Collector’s Workbench, a site for toy collectors and customizers alike. It was a lot of fun, and hopefully would be a good read. If you want to check it out, just click here and it will take you straight to the interview. Let me know what you think about it!
New Guide – How to Fix DC Collectibles Arkham City Killer Croc’s Shoulder
If you’re one of the many people out there who had their DC Collectibles Arkham City Killer Croc’s arm break off at the shoulder, then great news! I have a new tutorial up on my site that teaches you how to fix it. It’s the best method I found that has worked perfectly for my own Croc. Just click here to read the full tutorial. I hope it helps.
Voltaire Makes Me His Human of the Month!
Alright, now this just made my entire year. Voltaire put up a video newsletter on his Youtube page for July, and made me his “Human of the Month”, and talked about the custom I made for him and even shows it off, as well as mentions me by name and my website URL. Yeah, this is really awesome. Check out the video:
Voltaire, if you’re reading this, then I hope you have fun playing with yourself.
MTV Geek Recently Interviewed Me!
That’s right, Jason Stephens of MTV Geek recently did an interview with me regarding my customs. We talk about everything from my artistic process, to my favorite pieces I’ve made, and I even relate a war story. Click here to read the full interview. I couldn’t feel more honored for it. Thanks to Jason Stephens, aka Lemonjuice McGee, for the opportunity!
