In case anyone forgot about it, what with the Club Eternia Doomsday Prophecy looming over our heads, the Masters of the Universe Classics Caslte Grayskull playset is still set to be released this December. Scott Neitlich, AKA “Toyguru” has posted a progress report video on Youtube showing off a test shot of the playset, to give fans a look at how the Castle Grayskull playset is coming along.

I know I mention it a lot, but man NECA just keeps getting cooler and cooler. To accompany their recent SDCC exclusive NES Jason Voorhees Friday the 13th figure, based on his look from the classic NES video game, NECA is now releasing a version of Freddy Krueger as he looked in his own NES video game from A Nightmare on Elm Street. It looks to be the exact same sculpt as the other classic Freddy Krueger figures NECA has already released, it will only be painted to match Freddy’s video game sprite in the video game. This figure will be limited to just one production run.

NECA just won’t stop pulling their punches when it comes to their recently acquired Aliens license. We have Xenomorphs, Colonial Marines, and now this. Later this year, NECA is releasing a light-up alien egg with a launching facehugger inside! I’m not sure if there are actual words in the English language to describe how excited I am for them. I’d have to make up a new one. Shlubliciosbruk? That’s close, but still not enough.

As Geoff Johns revealed today the villains of his Forever Evil storyline, DC Collectibles unveils the figures based on those characters: the Crime Syndicate. DC Collectibles will be releasing figures of Ultraman, Power Ring, and Superwoman in their New 52 “Forever Evil” portrayals.

darkknight asks: Will there still be Movie Masters figures made in the 6″ scale for future DC movies? The information revealed at SDCC has many fans worried that there will be no more 6″ Movie Masters figures at all, so it would be great if that could get cleared up. I hope there will continue to be 6″ Movie Masters.
At this time the future of the line is in the 4″ scale but it doesn’t mean we couldn’t return to 6″ in the future.
EctoCooler asks: On Mattycollector.com, it says fans have until November 5th to pre-order, but Toyguru recently posted an update about the Ecto-1 and the subscriptions and said August 19th was the deadline. Was this a typo, or has it been changed? Because that’s a mighty big typo if so. A lot of Ghostbusters fans are panicking because of it.
