News – NECA Reveals Alien 35th Anniversary Nostromo Spacesuit Figure

Never let it be said that NECA isn’t going all out on their Alien and Aliens figures. To help celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 1979 film Alien, NECA is releasing an action figure of one of the Nostromo crew inside a spacesuit. From what I can gleam, this is just going to be a generic Nostromo astronaut in the spacesuit, and you won’t get to see anyones’ face. If that changes I’ll be sure to let you all know here. This seems to be a good way to get some figures from the original Alien movie though, since Sigourney Weaver won’t allow her likeness used for a new Ripley figure.

News – Quick Preview of NECA Aliens Bishop Action Figure In Progress

One of the reasons that NECA is one of the coolest action figure companies out there is that they love throwing early teasers up on the web, usually on their Twitter and Facebook pages. This is one of those occasions. NECA put up a photo on Twitter of their sculptor Jason Frailey hard at work on several projects. There seems to be a lot of Easter Eggs in the pic, but one that a lot of people are going to be interested in, myself included, is an in-progress sculpt of the upcoming NECA Aliens Bishop action figure. You can spot it right away in the picture. I know it’s a very early sculpt, but it already has me excited!

News – NECA Aliens Genocide 2-Pack in Package Photo

NECA has tweeted a new pic of a photo that gives us our first look at the Aliens Genocide 2-Pack. The 2-pack is based on the Dark Horse – Aliens Genocide 4-issue mini series comic books from the early 90’s. The figures are the new Aliens body molds, and will feature over 30 points of articulation and they will also stand over 9″ tall. The figures will also feature extending inner attack mouths, bendable tails, and “decorations” exclusive to this set.
