Just a quick update to let everyone know that Amazon now has pre-orders up for the whole second wave of Star Wars the Black Series 6″ figures! Boba Fett, Han Solo, Greedo, and Princess Leia in her slave outfit are all up for pre-order at retail price. They’re also all eligible for free shipping, and your card won’t be charged until the figures are actually shipped later this year. It’s just a good day to be a Star Wars collector! StarWars-Figuren.com has gotten a hold of in-package images of the Star Wars Black Series 6″ wave 2, which will consist of Boba Fett, Han Solo, Greedo, and Princess Leia in her slave outfit. The Boba Fett figure will be the exact same as the one released at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, only it won’t come with Han Solo frozen in carbonite.

News – Star Wars the Black Series Series 3 Bespin Luke & Storm Trooper Figures Revealed

This past weekend at Star Wars Celebration Europe, 2 figures for series 3 of Star Wars the Black Series 6″ figures were revealed: Bespin Luke Skywalker, and a Stormtrooper. Bespin Luke is no doubt a fan favorite look for Luke Skywalker, and the Storm Trooper will surely make amazing army building fodder. There’s lots of up close, detailed pics of the prototypes of the two figures, as well as detailed pics of other recently revealed figures in the Star Wars the Black Series line, such as Han Solo, Slave Leia, and Episode III: Revenger of the Sith Obi-Wan Kenobi.

News – Star Wars the Black Series Boba Fett 2013 SDCC Exclusive Revealed

USA Today got the exclusive for this, so thanks to them for breaking the story. We now have a fantastic look at the fully revealed 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Star Wars the Black Series Boba Fett with Han Solo in carbonite. It will be sold at the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic Con from July 18th to 21st, and it will cost $44.99. Yeah, I know, that’s a pretty big price for a 6″ figure, even with all the accessories he comes with, and considering the retail figures will only cost about $20.

And speaking of, now is a good time to point out that Boba Fett himself is not the exclusive. Before fans get up in arms, there will be a retail version of Boba Fett released in the 6″ scale in The Black Series. The part that makes this set unique and exclusive is that picking him up at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con is the only way to get Han Solo in carbonite. I know what you’re gonna say “that still sucks!”, and I completely agree. But I’m sure he’ll be available after the show on Hasbro Toy Shop, but who knows how easy it will be to get him. Anyway, I digress.
