News – Marvel Legends Avengers Movie Figures in Package, Hulk Revealed

Hasbro Marvel Legends 2012 Movie Avengers Hulk Hawkeye Captain America Loki Thor Iron ManApparently the Hasbro Marvel Legends movie Avengers figures have leaked, and thanks to xmeteorz of TheFwoosh forums, we have new images of the Walmart exclusive figures!

Most of these were already revealed as prototypes at conventions within the last year, however here we get a peek at a not yet revealed figure: Movie Hulk! That’s right, it looks as if Hasbro is making a Hulk figure based on his appearance in the Avengers movie in Marvel Legends style. He looks pretty big in package. They even had to fold his arms and squat his legs just to get him to fit in the package.

Hasbro stated that these figures will be released either before or during the release of the Avengers movie on Blu-ray/DVD. Some of these 6″ figures feature the new style of rocker ankles Hasbro has been implementing, such as the movie Hulk figure. However, Iron Man seems to be a repack from the previous Walmart exclusive Iron Man 2 6″ figure wave. Each figure comes with a display stand.

In addition, images of the cardbacks can be seen, showing the cross-sells!

Three New Guides and Tutorials Posted

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I have three new guides posted in the Guides and Tutorials section.

The first one is How to Fix a Stuck Waist Joint. I go over the best ways to get your action figure’s waist joint moving again. I just got the new Marvel Legends 2012 Piledriver figure and his waist couldn’t move! So I decided to fix it and make a tutorial on it.

The second is How to Conform Styrene and Plastic Sheets to Shapes and Action Figures. Here, I teach you how to take a piece of polystyrene and get it to perfectly conform around a part of your figure.

And my last new tutorial is How to Make Custom Decals and Insignias. It’s kind of a tough one if you’re unfamiliar with Photoshop, or if you don’t have it at all, but it’s essential if you’re making any character that has a patch, or logo, or insignia on his suit, because not even the steadiest of hands can match what a computer can do.

Alright, that’s all for now. I just wanted to update everybody on the new guides, and I hope they help you in your customizing endeavors!

Review – Constrictor, Iron Man, Klaw – Marvel Legends, Hasbro

Hasbro Marvel Legends 2012 Constrictor Klaw Iron ManI’m doing something different this time with the review. I want to get through the entire first wave of the new Marvel Legends, and to do so I’m going to do review a few figures at a time. Don’t worry, I won’t skimp on any details, I just felt like consolidating. Unfortunately, I’ve only been able to find variant cases of the figures, so my Iron Man figure here is the blue stealth variant. The sculpt is the exact same though, so so the review should help you regardless of which version you find. So, are the new Marvel Legends figures worth all the hype?
