Now this is a cool bit of news. Finishing up Mattel’s week long 2013 San Diego Comic-Con reveals, we conclude with something a lot of fans might find familiar. Mattel is releasing a 2 pack of stylized mini figures of He-Man and Skeletor, based on their designs from the iPhone game that came out last year. Fans will notice that these figures look very reminiscent of the “Mini Masters” that the Four Horsemen sculpted and had presented on display at conventions this past year. They were never something Mattel was going to for sure release, just one of those things the Four Horsemen love doing on their own to gauge interest.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear that the character designs for the iPhone game were purposefully modeled after those Mini Masters, so Mattel would have a viable excuse to release them. They don’t look exactly like those sculpts, but they’re close enough to make the comparison for sure.

Scott Neitlich posted a video comparing the MOTUC Castle Grayskull prototype with the original Castle Grayskull and the 200X Castle Grayskull playsets. In the video, he also gives out a bunch of rough measurements of the new upcoming playset, to give fans a better idea of exactly what they’re getting.
Today, Mattel sent out a sneak peek image to all Masters of the Universe Classics subscribers showing off an accessory that’s being included with one of their upcoming figures in their Club Filmation toy line.
Wow, ok, so I totally jumped the gun with that last post revealing Mantenna. Turns out that a LOT of Mattel Toy Fair reveals have leaked on the internet. It’s crazy how much stuff got leaked. MOTUC, DC Signature Collection, Watchmen, even the Castle Grayskull playset prototype! Wow! The guys over at Mattel must be upset right now, but suffice it to say that the fans are pleased! Here’s a full list of the reveals:
Over on the Masters of the Universe Classics Facebook page, a picture has been posted of what looks like a Masters of the Universe Classics Mantenna figure. According to the post, it was found after snooping around on the Mattycollector/Digital River website. This likely wasn’t supposed to be seen until after Toy Fair this weekend, but hey we all know how the internet works. Nobody at Mattel has confirmed its validity yet, but it does have the Mattel watermark on the picture. At any rate, it looks pretty awesome.
