Mattel posted some more photos of the upcoming 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Man of Steel Superman Vs. Zod 2 pack of figures. We get a look at the figures outside of the package so we get a better sense of what we’re getting, and we get some additional information about the set as well. Suffice it to say that there’s more to this set than we initially thought.

Continuing the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con reveals this week from Mattel, we now have the latest one: New 52 Shazam, for the DC Club Infinite Earths. This won’t be in the subscription at all, and will only be available for sale at 2013 San Diego Comic-con, and then later on Mattycollector.com. Well I have to say, this is a surprise. For those expecting Granny Goodness, a new Doomsday, or even Sgt. Rock, you might be disappointed in this reveal. For those excited about the New 52, this may be for you.

Today continues the week of 2013 San Diego Comic-Con reveals from Mattel. Today’s reveal is for the highly anticipated upcoming movie Man of Steel. It’s a 2 pack featuring Superman and Zod in the Movie Masters scale, but in classic Mattel tradition, it’s not just the figures that make this set special, but the box has a lot of great features as well!

I just received, and likewise I expect that anyone who is a subscriber to any of Mattycollector’s brands received an email linking to a survery. The survey is just one question, and it deals with Mattel looking into new shipping options, to help save you money.
Today, Mattel sent out a sneak peek image to all Masters of the Universe Classics subscribers showing off an accessory that’s being included with one of their upcoming figures in their Club Filmation toy line.
For those who don’t know, Mattel is offering a Club Filmation subscription toy line separate from its main Masters of the Universe Classics toy line that’s set to include 6 fan favorite characters that only ever appeared in the old Masters of the Universe and She-Ra cartoons by Filmation. The first three figures have already been revealed at the 2013 New York Toy Fair, and are Batros, Icer, and Shokoti.

Mattycollector just revealed on their Facebook page, the packaged shots for the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Fang Man action figure. In addition to this, they also sent a quick explanation over the January subscription charges. Many people were surprised at how much January turned out to be when they saw their credit card statements, and here Mattycollector offers a quick explanation, and promises to have a full explanation soon.

When Mattel first announced the DC: Club Infinite Earths online subscription program, the big incentive to get people to sign up for it was the promise of a DC Universe Classics Poison Ivy action figure. She was one of the most fan demanded figures in the entire line, and Mattel never did get to her, until the Club idea came up. I don’t know how responsible Poison Ivy was in getting it to happen, but the Club did get its minimum number of subscribers, and true to their word, Mattel released a Poison Ivy 6″ action figure this past October. Join me as I take a closer look at the DC Signature Collection Poison Ivy action figure and determine whether or not she’s worthy to join the rest of Batman’s Rogues Gallery.
Mattel just revealed boxed pictures of the upcoming MOTUC Granamyr on their Mattycollector Facebook page. The front of the package displays a new painting by long time Masters of the Universe artist Rudy Obrero. The figure will come painted in “Filmation Red”, as per the fan vote back at SDCC 2011. The back of the package features an all new bio for Granamyr. The figure will be disassembled inside the package, no doubt to make the box as small as possible to save on shipping, hence the lack of window display and the need for the awesome painting on the front. Granamyr will be released this December 17th on Mattycollector.com for $80. Check out the full sized packaged images after the jump!
Mattel posted some packaged images for their upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Jitsu figure on their Facebook page. Jitsu is set to be released in February of 2013. Check out the images after the jump.
In case you missed it, Mattel has announced that they have exceeded the minimum number of pre-orders to go forward with the production of their new Masters of the Universe Classics Castle Grayskull playset! This is definitely a huge announcement and is sure to be a historic toy. Just so you know, the MOTUC Castle Grayskull is still up for pre-order right now if you’re wanting one.
