Toys R Us has updated their website with some information Transformers fans have no doubt been waiting for – prices and, perhaps more importantly, expected release dates of the next two Masterpiece Transformers arriving in the United States. Masterpiece Soundwave with all five cassettes and Masterpiece Acid Storm are both listed on the Toys R Us website as being available for order on July 18. Soundwave’s price is given at $120 (amazing price considering everything it comes with) and Acid Storm is priced at $75.

All you have to do is call your local Toys R Us store and give them either the UPC# or the TRU item# and get them to look it up in their system. They should be able to tell you if any are in the local distribution warehouse, and if so, when that particular location should be expecting them in so you can plan your hunts accordingly if you don’t get to purchase them online. I may pass on Acid Storm, but I absolutely can’t wait to add that Masterpiece Soundwave figure to my collection.
