New Custom Figures – Doomstroke and Justice Lords Batman (Movie Concept)

Hey everyone. Back again with some new custom action figures. This week I bring you some DC Comics goodness. First up, I have a movie concept Justice Lords Batman figure, complete with a Nolan inspired fabric cape! And I also have one that many of you may not even know about, Doomstroke! Doomstroke is an amalgam of Doomsday and Deathstroke that appeared briefly in the Superman/Batman story “Night and Day”, which largely took place in a universe where a bunch of DC characters were amalgamated into one another. I love mashups like that, so I couldn’t resist. Just click on each photo below to take you to the fully custom gallery. News – NECA Aliens Queen & Dog Alien BTS Test Shots

Randy Falk from NECA tweeted a couple of test shot photos showing off the upcoming NECA Aliens Queen Xenomorph and Alien 3 Dog Alien action figures. These are different from the prototypes, which are the original sculpts. While these are unpainted, they are made of plastic in the proper scale to make sure the types of plastic used are correct and that all the joints work. Once these are approved, then they’ll be painted during mass production. In the photos, you can also catch glimpses of test shots for Bishop, Dallas, and Kane as well. Things could change, but the NECA Aliens Queen should be out sometime in October, along with series three of the NECA Aliens line, which will include the Alien 3 Dog Alien, Kane from Alien, and Bishop from Aliens.

New Custom Figures – Dean Winchester and Castiel from Supernatural

Hey everyone! For this week’s new custom action figure, I have two for you: Dean Winchester, and Castiel the Fallen Angel from the television show Supernatural. Castiel is a custom I meant to post a while back, but completely forgot about it! So I decided to go ahead and post him with Dean. Both were made made to be completely accurate to the show. With Dean Winchester, the head actually came from a shrunken down mold of a custom sculpted 1/6 scale Dean head. I also made both of the Colt pistols from the show for Dean. News – DC Universe Classics Doomsday Unleashed Will Be…You Get the Idea

For those who haven’t heard by now, Mattel announced on their Facebook page the other day that the once thought dead DC Universe Classics Doomsday Unleashed figure in fact being released towards the end of this year. This came on the heels of some leaked packaged photos of the Doomsday Unleashed figure that Mattel wrote off as old packaged samples that the fans were never supposed to see. Apparently this was some misdirection until the official announcement, which is stirring some controversy amongst collectors. Many are feeling cheated for “having to buy” the Containment Suit Doomsday figure, thinking it would be the only one ever made. Me personally, I would have bought that version regardless, because when it comes to DC (especially DC Universe Classics), I’m all in, and I couldn’t be more excited about Doomsday Unleashed.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics 1990 Movie Figures on Amazon

Hey collectors! Got a cool find for you. If you’re having trouble finding any or all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics 1990 movie figures, I just saw that Amazon has all four of them available at retail price. Getting at least two will get you free super saver shipping as well. I can’t stand not being able to find new stuff, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics figures can be especially hard to find, so I hope this helps some people out there. Happy hunting!

Tutorial – Shoulder Fix for TMNT Classics 1990 Movie Figures

I’ve been hearing a lot of people complain about the ridiculously tight shoulders on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics 1990 movie figures. And they are too tight. The TMNT Classics 1990 figures’ shoulder joints are so tight that trying to move them stresses the peg in the bicep, which could lead to tearing. So I made a video guide that will show you how to loosen up the shoulder joints to a proper resistance on your TMNT Classics 1990 Movie figures.
