It’s the week of 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, so you know there’s going to be a slew of new toy news bombarding the interwebs all this week. With that said, DC Collectibles has unveiled a ton of new action figures and statues due to come out next year. Among them are figures based on Greg Capullo’s art style in the current Batman run, and something I’m very much looking forward to: Arrow TV series action figures! That’s right, something fans have been wanting since the show first aired is now coming true. We’re getting a two-pack of Arrow and Deathstroke based on their looks from the TV series in a 6.75″ scale. And there’s lots more cool stuff coming your way from DC Collectibles.

A couple of days ago, Ed Boon of Netherrealm Studios announced that he’d be revealing the fifth DLC character for Injustice Gods Among Us at the 2013 Evolution Championship Series. Well we now have that reveal. The fifth DLC character for Injustice Gods Among Us will be Martian Manhunter! Many fans have already suspected him to be the next DLC character, but it’s great to have confirmation. No release date yet, but it will probably be next month. In addition to Martian Manhunter, we’re getting a Jon Stewart skin for Green Lantern! Not only that, but it’s being voiced by Phil Lamarr, the voice of Jon Stewart from the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons! This is all very exciting news for Injustice Gods Among Us fans.

Entertainment Earth has now posted the fourth and final sneak peek of the upcoming Star Wars the Black Series wave 2 6″ Greedo action figure. In case you missed them and want to see the progress of this figure’s production, here are the first, second, and third sneak peeks. With this final sneak peek, we get to see the fully finished Greedo action figure as he’ll appear later this year in the Star Wars the Black Series 6″ toy line.

Hot on the heels of their 1/6 scale Man of Steel Superman reveal, Hot Toys has now unveiled their 1/6 scale Man of Steel Jor-El figure on the Hot Toys Facebook page. The figure has an amazing likeness to actor Russel Crowe, and the figure comes with that cool Kryptonian gun that Jor-El used in the movie. Any fans of Man of Steel should be excited for this one.

Toys R Us has updated their website with some information Transformers fans have no doubt been waiting for – prices and, perhaps more importantly, expected release dates of the next two Masterpiece Transformers arriving in the United States. Masterpiece Soundwave with all five cassettes and Masterpiece Acid Storm are both listed on the Toys R Us website as being available for order on July 18. Soundwave’s price is given at $120 (amazing price considering everything it comes with) and Acid Storm is priced at $75.

NECA has tweeted a new pic of a photo that gives us our first look at the Aliens Genocide 2-Pack. The 2-pack is based on the Dark Horse – Aliens Genocide 4-issue mini series comic books from the early 90’s. The figures are the new Aliens body molds, and will feature over 30 points of articulation and they will also stand over 9″ tall. The figures will also feature extending inner attack mouths, bendable tails, and “decorations” exclusive to this set.
