Today, Mattycollector announced some information regarding their San Diego Comic-Con 2012 pre-voucher sale, and in that release they revealed what the Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters Exclusive figure will be. Up until now, we haven’t known anything about what it could be, other than there would be one.
Speculation rose that perhaps it would be the Liam Neeson Ra’s Al Ghul figure that fans have been wanting since 2008 and the inception of the Dark Knight Movie Masters figures.
There are no photos yet of what the SDCC exclusive will look like, but we do know the package will feature lights and sounds, and now we know the character it’s going to be.

Apparently there is a picture floating around out of Hong Kong of a series of Amazing Spider-Man 6″ movie figures. Well, two of them are movie figures, and the third is the previously seen Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-Man.

The other day, the SyFy channel announced a slew of new shows that will be launching in 2013, one of which is a new show based around toy hunting. The show is called Toy Traveler. Many may remember when the Travel Channel gave a sneak peek of their show based on toy hunting, called Toy Hunters, back in January of this year, and which will be debuting in full on later this year. Toy Traveler is obviously a different show, but it’s not hard to imagine why after the success of the pilot for Toy Hunters, that other networks would want their own toy based reality shows. Geek culture is mainstream now. It’s an odd feeling, isn’t it?

You heard that right, apparently DC Comics is launching a brand new 6 issue Masters of the Universe comic book this July! It will be written by James Robinson, with pencils by Phillip Tan and inks from Ruy Jose. For He-Man fans, this is very exciting news. DC Comics was the comic book company that published the original ongoing series in the 80’s and it seems they are ready to bring He-Man back!
