I just wanted to let everyone know that the NECA Predators Series 10 figures are now available for sale at NECA’s eBay store! This is the wave that’s all inspired by the classic 90’s Kenner figures. It features modern versions of the Lava Planet Predator, Nighstorm Predator, and the Hive Wars Predator. As the 2013 New York Comic-Con approaches this weekend, the people over at Mattel are setting up as we speak. However, before the show starts Scott Neitlich (AKA Toyguru) put up a new video for us, showing off the final version of the MOTUC Castle Grayskull playset. This is the final model that will be going into production. Masters of the Universe Classics fans should be pleased with this one. It’s going to come with a ton of cool items that harken back to the vintage Castle Grayskull playset. Scott even goes so far as to give several measurements of the MOTUC Castle Grayskull to give an idea of scale. It looks plenty big for the Masters of the Universe Classics figures. Of course it’s not in scale with them, but to truly be in scale with them the playset would likely need to be as big as a small house. As is, I look forward to getting the MOTUC Castle Grayskull playset.
A tweet was just sent out showing off the packaging design for the highly anticipated, upcoming NECA ED-209 Deluxe Boxed Figure. The NECA ED-209 was announced a good while ago. They showed off a prototype for it, but not much else has been seen or heard from about it since then, until now. We know that the ED-209 will be in scale with the NECA Robocop 7″ figures, will be fully articulated, and feature dialogue and sound effects! This monster of a toy is due to be out in stores between 4-6 weeks, so most likely sometime in November. You can pre-order the NECA ED-209

NECA has tweeted a photo of the upcoming Predator 2 pack Dutch Vs. Jungle Hunter in packaging to give us an idea of what it will look like on store shelves. This two pack gives us another variant of Dutch, this time with his mud disguise mostly washed off, with some blood on him of course. It also gives us the Jungle Hunter with green blood and battle damage, and a closed mouth head, with a removable face mask.
NECA tweeted a photo of their upcoming Aliens light-up egg with launching facehugger. The shot shows off how it will look in its packaging. Sadly, because of the light-up and launching features, it won’t be in scale with the current line of 7″ NECA Aliens figures, but it should make a cool display piece.
