I did not attend Toy Fair this year and have no photos of my own to show off, but I would like to provide a list of what was shown off and provide links to photos that other sites took. I’ll try to make it as comprehensive as a I can, and I will be elaborating on some particular figures that I am very excited for. I’ll update the list as the news and photos come in. Please, join in the discussion.

Ashiko has an interesting history, because of his distribution. Hasbro has a habit of only releasing the final wave of something (in this case the final wave of Pursuit of Cobra Alpha vehicles) in Asia and Canada. At that point the only thing any U.S. fans can do is buy them from Canada at an inflated price, or buy them off of the internet at an equally inflated price. That is, until Ashiko started showing up recently at Ross stores.
Ross is a department store where big box retailers will send their unsold goods to die (or be bought at a cheaper amount). This is also something G.I. Joe fans are used to, since the Cobra Attack and Defense 7 packs, as well as the G.I. Joe Resolute 7 packs showed up at Ross stores as well. I took a trip to a local Ross and sure enough found Ashiko with Cycle Armor. I had wanted this figure ever since I saw the prototype. It seemed like such a great concept and felt very reminiscent of the Centurions which I loved as a kid. Keep reading to see if that excited stayed after opening him up!
Fans of the smash-hit TV series Smallville haven’t had much to cheer about since the show ended its critically acclaimed 10-year run on The CW last May. That’s all going to change with the upcoming new comic book series from DC Entertainment: SMALLVILLE SEASON 11. Written by former Smallville show scribe Bryan Q. Miller, the new digital first series will be published digitally on April 13, 2012, with new digital chapters released weekly thereafter. Additionally, the online chapters will be offered in a print periodical, along with an episode guide to the hit television series, with the first print issue released on May 16.

Earlier this week, Hasbro unveiled several of their movie figures and toys set based on the upcoming G.I. Joe Retaliation movie this June. They showed off several figures, vehicles, and roleplay items on GIJoe.com. Since then, they have now released several hi resolution images of those same figures, vehicles, and roleplay items.

Yesterday during one of Marvel’s live Twitter chats with the folks of Diamond Select Toys, they finally revealed the upcoming Marvel Select Avengers Movie Hulk Figure. They said it will stand 8.25″ tall and be released in April of 2012. Also joining the Hulk figure in April will be a re-release of the Iron Man Mark VI figure from their Iron Man 2 line repacked in Avengers themed packaging.

MTV Geek has gotten their hands on a ton of information and images regarding Playmates Toys new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys, in support of the upcoming CGI animated Nickelodeon cartoon set to debut later this year.
There are images of action figures, vehicles (including a brand new Party Van dubbed the Shellraiser, role play items, and one HUGE playset in store.
MTV Geek also showed off images of Playmates upcoming TMNT Classic toy line. There are currently 4 figures planned (of the four main turtles of course), and the looks are based on their appearance in the classic 80’s cartoon. They’re on a 6 inch scale, and feature 30 points of articulation apiece.

Last week I posted several images from the UK Toy Fair showing off Hasbro’s Avengers toys. Included in that was the Hellicarrier. The image was very small and could hardly be made out. But now, it seems as if IGN has gotten a hold of a hi-res image of Hasbro’s upcoming 3ft long S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier for their Avengers movie toy line. It comes with a Captain America figure and features 4 firing projectile deck cannons. Still no word on price but that should hopefully be revealed next weekend during the New York Toy Fair.
