Back at Toy Fair 2015, we got our first look at the NECA Ultimate Commando John Matrix 7″ action figure. All we saw then was a 2 up prototype. Now NECA has revealed the first official photo, add well as all the details about this upcoming figure. John Matrix will be packed to the brim with accessories. An image has just been tweeted out showing off an unpainted test shot and packaging blister layout for the upcoming NECA Aliens Series 5 Ripley action figure. This figure will be based on her appearance in the 1986 James Cameron movie and will just about coincide with the release of the upcoming NECA Aliens Power Loader. Ripley will come decked out with ammo straps and look like she did in the climax of the film. She’ll come with her taped together pulse rifle/flamethrower combo. Keep reading for the full image!

Earlier today, NECA tweeted out a picture showing the size comparison of one of their upcoming Alien VS Predator figures with their older Predator figures. The AVP Predators were much taller than the ones from the first or second movies, so this makes sense. The NECA AVP Predator will be 100% new tooling, as they are meant to be taller and bulkier, and they will be doing more than one. The NECA AVP Predator figure should be out sometime over the Summer. We’ve known for a while now that there would be a reissue of the NECA Terminator Classic Endoskeleton figure, in anticipation of their upcoming Terminator Genisys line. People have been finding them at Walmart, of all places, near the checkout lanes next to the “As Seen on TV” items. Of course not everybody can find them. I live in a busy city, and have checked multiple Walmarts and have come up empty every time. But now the NECA Terminator Classic Endoskeleton figure is up on the NECA eBay store
. They have it for retail price, so if you don’t feel like waiting and checking every single Walmart around you, then just click the picture below. I hope this helps.
The people at the Unofficial SDCC Blog have revealed one of the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con 2015 exclusives from NECA. We get our first look at the SDCC exclusive Terminator 2 Endoglow Endoskeleton. This is an homage to the wonderfully classic Kenner Terminator action figures, right down to the vintage styled card back the figure will come on.
The figure will feature glow in the dark pieces in the head, chest and legs, and will include a Plasma rifle accessory. The figure will be available at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, as well as other select conventions throughout the year. Hey everyone! My latest custom action figure is up, Batman 1989 movie style! I took the recent NECA Batman Classic Video Game Appearance action figure and completely repainted it. It involved me taking apart the entire figure, including removing the head from the cowl (yeah there’s a Michael Keaton face under there!). I even detailed the face, including the black makeup around the eyes. I also gave my custom Batman 1989 movie figure two capes! One hangs naturally, the other has wires in the top for placing in his hands outstretched like when you first see him in the Batman 1989 movie. Pretty cool, huh?
